In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50 -327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to the operating licenses, DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 technical speifications (T/S).

The proposed changes are provided in Enclosure 1. These changes msult from the revised reporting mquirements specified in 10 CFR 50.73 which became effective January 1,1984. The justification for the proposed T/S changes are provided in Enclosure 2.

In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class II for unit 1 and Class I for unit 2.

However, as specified in the December 19, 1983 from D. G. Eisenhut letter to "All Licensees . . .," because the mange to the T/S is administrative in nature to clarify the reporting mquirements, no fees are required for this mquested amendment.

This mquested amendment has been evaluated pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 and as stated in Enclosure 2, no significant hazards considerations are involved.
