Dear Mr. Martin:

In reviewing our file on the EIS related work concerning the Limerick Generating Station, I have found an egregious and unfortunate error in the second paragraph of the first technical comment, Statistics and Probability. The word " designed" in the fourth line is mispelled and should read " design".

The sense of this paragraph is probably better stated as an "either or" situation. The TMI accident was either a design failure or a design accident compounded by operator judgement.

Hopefully this will clear up any questions that may have arisen over this mispelling.
