Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear) has reviewed the proposed rule

" Primary Reactor Containment Leakage Testing for Water-Cooled Power," published in the Federal Register on February 21,1995. In accordance with the request for comments, Southern Nuclear is in total agreement with the NEI comments which are to be provided to the NRC. In addition, Southern Nuclear requests the NRC to expedite the promulgation of the Option B rule in order to afford utilities with the greater flexibility and benefits associated with this performance based option at the earliest possible date.
