Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Semi-Annual Radioactive Effluent and Release Report Submittal Delay

TMI-1 Technical Specifications Section 6.9.5.1 requires that the Semi-Annual Radioactive Effluent Release for the period July 1 through December 31, be submitted within 60 days, or by February 28th of each year.
As communicated to our resident inspector on February 28, 1984, the TMI-1 Semi-Annual Report due on this date was not finalized for submittal and a two-week filing extension was requested.
Due to our contract vendor experiencing ccatinued computer down-time, our Fourth Quarter Individual Dose accumulation calculations were not processed to include in the report. On March 13, 1984, we were advised that the Fourth Quarter Individual Dose Accumulat. ion data was still not available, and again notified the resident. He contacted Walt Pasciak, Region I, and they recommended that we submit the information we had to date and send the outstanding data as soon as it was received.
While attempting to submit this report there were several changes noted which needed management concurrence before finalization, and at this date the report is still being reviewed. As soon as all information is completed and reviewed this report will be provided.
