Dear Mr. Gilinsky:

Recently the Nuclear Regulatory Comnission reconnended restart of 'IMI Reactor I. I think that this decision is quite premature, in light of the nuny unanswered questions concerning the cmpetence, integrity ard safety issues in the running of the 'IMI facility. I think that the NRC Camissioners need outside pressure ard encouragenent to re-evaluate their decision, especially in light of the publicized safety issues. A premature decision at this time may jeopardim the health ard safety of the area residents, any potential future constructive um of nuclear power, ard the credibility of the WC.

As an area resident concerned about the many varied issues involved in this difficult and controversial problen, I urge you to take action to delay any further decision concerning the restart of Reactor I until all the data concerning the, previous operation of 'IMI are collected and analyzed. J Sincerely, V bhYa&%)
