Dear Mr. Holonich:
In connection *,11th the issuance of certain pollution control bonds on facilities located at the Wolf Creek Generating Station by the City of Burlington, Kansas, we are requesting a certification from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to the effect that the facilities being financed are in furtherance of abating or controlling atmospheric pollution.
It is my understanding that the NRC has provided a similar certification relating to a pollution control financing on the Grand Gulf Station.
I have enclosed a form of certification for your information and use, if acceptable.
Due to time constraints, it is necessary to receive the certificate by Monday, December 19th.
We would request two signed copies of the certificate.
Your cooperation on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
