Dear Secretary Chilk:
Please find enclosed a copy of a letter to the Commissioners requesting that they defer acting on the Staff's December 6 request for clarification of 10 CFR 73 40(a) physical protection requirements.
We understand the Staff request discusses the licensing board decision on that matter in our case (regarding sabotage protection for research reactors) and essentially requests the ASLB decision be overturned.
As the Staff request to the Commissioners deals with our case and was not served on us, we would appreciate it if you would send as soon as possible copies of the document in question.
