Dear Sir:

The University of Texas at Austin requests the extension of the construction permit, CPRR-123, for docket 50-602, for three additional months to December 31, 1991. The extension, at the request of NRC staff, is necessary to provide sufficient time for license processing.

Current permit expiration is 10/31/91.
