l NUCLEAR PLANTS STATUS JUNE 20, 1990 l

l HAIUf UNIT 1 Off-Line due to reactor scram on low water level.

On June 20, 1990, while in the process of reducing load due to unexplained high condensor level, the feed pump failed to keep adequate flow to the vessel and the unit scramed on low water level.

On June 6, 1990, Unit 1 tied to the grid completing a scheduled one-hundred ten (110) day refueling and condenser retube outage, twenty six (26) hours a. head of schedule.

Unit I was shutdown on June 10, 1990, due to a problem in the O turbine off-gas filtering system. Plant management subse uently U declared a Notification of Unusual Event after receiving urther information about the problem. The NUE was terminated on June 16.

The unit returned to service on June 17. No significant damage was j sustained by the off-gas system.

Next Refueling Date for Unit 1 is September 18, 1991 UNIT 2 100% Power 82 Days On Line No Major Problems Next Refueling Date for Unit ; 50, 1991.
