MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TDIE TO FILE ANSWER Intervenor's " Answer to NRC Staff and Applicant's Motions for Smry Disposition" was due on December 12, 1983. Due to circumstances beyond its control, the Coalition has had to file today, December 13, 1983, one day late. These circumstances were on the production end, namely that late on December 12, the word processing equipment being utilized by the Intervenor caused the Answer and associated attachments which had been entered to be rendered unintelligible and unchie to be printed. Inter-venor has had to subsequently retype these submittals, accounting for the one day delay.

Representative of the Coalition, Nina Bell, contacted the parties and was told that the Applicant had no objection to this motion for a day late filing and that the 57C Staff had no objections provided it did not affect the Licensing Board's schedule for ruling on the Motions.

Intervenor would note, in any event, that hand delivery one day late still c3kb ' results in receipt by the Licensing Board several days earlier than could

- p n.

g have been expected had the submittal been mailed from Portland, Oregon.

.mc O WHEREFORE,-Intervenor Coalition for Safe Power prays for an 4x
