-Circulating Water Pumps._ The pumps had tripped. automatically.

when'one of the flood protection level switches-was accidently.

shorted'by plant _ personnel. The-2/3. logic for flood protection s wasLcompleted bytthis short since-the' supply breaker.for the redundant switches.was incorrectly.:in the "0FF" position. The cause is attributed to' personnel error. ~ Plant performance during

the eventJwas asfexpected.with no' events of~ safety significance.

On= October.22,-1983,:atL1053 hours,-the plant'was manually L tripped from approximately 77% power. .The trip was initiated whenithe; Shift Supervisor determined that an oil leak in the EHC System piping was high enough to preclude. running the plant back in a controlled. manner. Plant response to the transient was normal

_and the source offthe= leak subsequently repaired.
