Subject:

Limerick Generating Station NPDES Permit No. PA0051926 As discussed during our recent telephone conversation, we are requesting that the subject permit be amended to create two new internal monitoring points--

monitoring point 103 and monitoring point 105. The new internal points will be l

used to monitor the condenser waterbox effluent before it is discharged to the Possum Hollow Run via stormwater outfalls 003 or 005. Sampling of the effluent will be accomplished via the circulating water pumps' drain lines (see attached schematic). We are requesting that all sampling parameters listed for outfalls 003 and 005 be removed and incorporated as part of the new monitoring points.

Enclosed is a schematic that shows how the drain lines, condensers, and outfalls 003 and 005 are aligned.

notified.
