WCNOC, to NRC Subjects Docket No. 50-482: Additional Information to Proposed Revision to Technical Specification Tables 2.2-1, 4.3-1 and Bases Gentlemen In the Reference Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (VCNOC) submitted a proposed license amendment request to revise Technical Specification Tables 2.2-1, 4.3-1, and associated Bases. The referenced license amendment request accommodates the replacement of the existing resistance temperature detector (RTD) bypass system with an RTD thermowell system The attachment to this letter provides revised marked-up pages to the technical specifications as discussed with Mr. D. V. Pickett, NRC.
Additionally, during a
discussion on August 8,
- 1991, between Mr. H. Balukjian, NRC, and Mr. S. Wideman, WCNOC, a commitment was requested to perform T comparisons before and after the removal of the RTD bypan.a system.
WCN0bhlanstocomparepost-modification data against the most recent pre-modification data to assess the effects on T at Wolf Creek Generating Station.
Theresultsofthiscomparisonvillbhhrovidedtothe NRC Staff following startup from the fifth refueling outage.
