RESPONSE TO ITEM 4 of IEB 82-02 SURRY POWER STATION Enclosed is the Virginia Electric and Power Company response to Item 4 of-IE Bulletin No. 82-02 (Degradation of Threaded Fasteners in the Reactor Coolant Pressure Boundary of PWR Plants) for Surry Power Station Unit Nos. I and 2.

Three bolts were rejected from use due to structural damage by corrosion. Other bolts were evaluated accept-able for service.

Corosion. Evaluat-ed and replaced as required.
