Dear Ms. Diggs:
We are in receipt of your letter (Reference '3) requesting additional fees for our license change submittal involving the acquisition of higher range sources for the calibration of instrumentation (Reference 2).
This instrumentation was obtained at the direction of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as the result of actions required after the l
accident at Three Mile Island (Reference 1).
After a review of the submittal, we are still of the opinion that the acquisition of calibration sources for instrumentation does not involve an issue of safety significance or of environmental I
significance. Therefore, we have concluded that a Class II fee of
$7,200 is appropriate for this submittal.
