SHOREHAM RESOLUTION 00CKETED USNPC October 31, 1983 113 NOV 29 40:12 WHEREAS, the Rocky Point School District lies within the emergency planning zone of the Shoreham NucigTP6rwsiChurd KETING & SERViri.
Station BRANCH and WHEREAS, the Board of Education is cognizant of its responsibilities relative to the healta and safety of students and. staff on its premises and WHEP'AS, it is known at this date in time that no Shoreham evacuatAon plan has been approved by the Federal, State and County government agencies and WHEREAS, there has been no coordination relating to any evacuation plan therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Rocky Point School District supports any action whereby School, County, State and Federal officials work cooperatively in devising an approved evacuation plan and be it further RESOLVED, that the Board believes that no operating license be granted to LILCO until an approved evacuation plan is devised.
