NONCONFORMING MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY TUBE-LINE CORPORATION FACILITIES The North Anna Power Station responded to IEB 83-06 on Septembec 16, 1983 (Serial No.

448).

In summary, the North Anna response stated that no Tube-Line materials were furnished for use in safety-related systems at North Anna.

The response for Surry Power Station as required by the accion paragraphs 4a, b & c is as follows:

4a) A review of station purchase orders indicates that no orders have been placed with Tube-Line Corporation.

However, it is recognized that Tube Line uses a number of distributors. Action is under way to determine if the receiving companies identified in the Bulletin have supplied Surry Power Station with Tube-Line Corporation material.

A review of certification documentetion is also under way.

4b) These results will be provided after completion of the actions outlined in 4a above.

It is anticipated that follow-up actions currently underway will be completed by December 9, 1983.
