Limerick Generating Station, Unit 2 Issuance of the Core Operating Limits Report for Unit 2, Reload 1, Cycle 2 Dear Sirs Enclosed is a copy of the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) for Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Unit 2, Reload 1, Cycle 2. This report provides the cycle-specific parameter limits for: Average Planar Linear Heat Generation Rate (APLHGR); Minimur Critical Power Ratio (MCPR); Flow Adjustment Factor (K,); Linear Heat Generation Rate (LHGR); and Rod Dlock Monitor flow biased upscale and high flow clamped setpoints for LGS Unit 2, Reload 1, Cycle 2. These values have been determined using NRC-approved methodology and are established such that all applicable. limits of the plant safety analysis are met.

This report is being submitted to the NRC in accordance with LGS Unit 2 Tecnnical Specifications (TS) Section 6.9.1.12. Note that due to an administrative oversight, this report was not submitted to the NRC at the time of issuance to the. LGS staff on May 10, 1991 for use during the current LGS Unit 2 operating cycle 2. The COLR is submitted to the NRC on an informational basis and does not require NRC approval prior to use.

Therefore, use of the Unit 2, cycle 2 COLR prior to its submittal to the NRC does not result in a safety concern. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
