CHANGE 95-02, " ADDITION OF PROVISIONS FOR OPERABILITY TESTING AND DEFINITION OF TIME INTERVAL TO BYPASS CONDITION"

-In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing an amendment to Licenses DPR-77:and DPR-79 to change the TSs of SON Units 1 and 2. The proposed change adds a new limiting condition for operation to Section 3.0 that allows l 1 equipment to be returned to service under administrative control to perform operability testing. This revision also defines the time interval to place a channel

[ in bypass to be six hours in accordance with Action 18 of TS Table 3.3-3.

The proposed TS change is identified in Enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant safety hazards consideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in Enclosure 3.

TVA requests a 45-day implementation period for this TS change following l issuance.
