The purpose of this letter is to transmit Licensee Event Report (LER) No.
95-001-00 regarding a reactor coolant leak caused by the failure of a Parker Hannifin instrument tube compression fitting that was found to have been inadequately tightened when the instrument was installed as part of a modification between 1984 and 1985. The leak was isolated and the plant continued to operate at full power throughout the event. The abstract provides a brief description of the event.
The event did not adversely affect the health and safety of the public.
