Reference (a) provided various commitments and status regarding Fire Protection for LaSalle County Station Unit 2.

A review of Reference (a) revealed that the second page of Issue 11, item 3 was incomplete due to typograhical and/or editorial errors.

Attached please find a revised second page of the commitment to Issue 11 which replaces the original page.

Issue 11, Commitment 3, Continued Revised 11/21/83 Penetration seals which are identified in the future as having abormalities such as numerous hairline cracks and/or significant separations will be identified even when they satisfy acceptance criteria in the surveillance procedure.

. Representative penetration seals with these abnormalities'will be reviewed periodically to determine if these abnormalities are continuing to degrade for 6 years as part of a separate non-tech spec procedure.
