Dear Sir:
In the above referenced letter, PECG Energy Company submitted, in accordance with 10CFR50.90, Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) No. 9043 which requested-changes to Appendix A of the Peach Bottom Faculty Operating Ucenses..TSCR 9003 proposed changes to extend surveNiance test intervals and allowable out-of-service times for the testing and/or repair of instrumentation that actuate the Reactor Protection System, Primary Containment isolation, Core and Containment Cooling systems, Control Rod Blocks, Radiation Monitoring systems, and Altemate Rod insertion / Recirculation Pump Trip.
The purpose of this letter is to clarify a discussion on page 4 of Attachment 1 of the referenced letter. A new page 4 has been provided with revision bar markers in the right hand margin to indicate the location of the clarification. We have concluded that the clarification does not affect the conclusions previously submitted regarding a safety assessment, information supporting a finding of No Significant Hazards Consideration or information supporting an Environmental Assessment. No revisions to the proposed Technical Specifications pages contained in the referenced letter are required.
