Changes to ARMS Distribution Process On March 6th an upgrado was made to the ARMS distribution process in response to our customers requests and QA audit 93-0117 observation no. 2. All recipients should be aware of the following changes:

Notice to Post The new format for the Notice to Post will better identify the change document we are informing you about. Attachment 1 is an example of an ECR posted against an EDP. The notice displays information in a 3 tiered format with headers that explain each tier level. In the attached example, the information provided is:

TCECR 27444-1 REV. 0 (section A on attachment 1) is posted against TCEDP 27444 (section B). Additionally, it specifies which documents that you have on file that EDP 27444 is posted against---

DDDMEC M-2006 and DDDMEC M-5721-1 (section C).

We added this extra information for those recipients who destroy their EDP's after review and posting on the drawings. By supplying the drawing numbers they can post the ECR number next to the EDP posting on the drawings. Recipients who maintain EDP's in files should continue to post on the EDP cover page.

Notice to Unpost The upgrade has added a new process of notification to recipients to Unpost Change Paper that no longer affect a base document. The Notices to Unpost (attachment 2) will be generated under these

- circumstances:

When a change paper revision " closes" a document to be revised that was open on prior revisions all recipients will receive a notice to unpost so they ,

can update their files accordingly. (Recipients should line out the posting that no longer applies.) ,

When a Change paper is cancelled, all documents to be revised from .

previous revisions will be closed. All recipients again will be notified to-remove these postings.- .

Additional training will be provided on a 1 on 1 basis if requested. If you have any questions or concems on these changes please contact me at x64061.
