Dear Administrative Judges:
GANE (Georgians Against Nuclear Energy) respectfully attaches a copy of the letter from Dr. Robert-Boyd to the NRC dated December 3, 1993, which you requested. Dr. Boyd forwarded us a copy of the pertinent rule and his comments on a map of the Georgia Tech campus showing the j
reactor and Olympic Village which we are also including, j
We want to alert you to the fact that this is the same Dr. Robert Boyd who served as Radiation Safety Officer under Dr. Karam. He was Radiation Safety Officer daring the 1987 accident which is reported in NRC Inspection Report 50-160/87-08 and 2-88-003.
We are also including a copy of a recent news report concerning the City of Atlanta's meeting with the NRC and Georgia Tech in which the
' City of Atlanta required Georgia Tech to begin a moratorium on radioactive dumping to the Atlanta sewers until proper permits are applied for, processed and granted.
