Dear Mr. Sniezek:
As you know, on June 3, 1991, the NRC sent my clients, the three Senior Reactor Operators listed above, Demands for Information (NRC EA 91-064, -065 and -066).
Consistent with the reasons set forth in Mr.
C. Kenneth McCoy's June 13, 1991 letter to you, I seek on behalf of my clients an extension until August 30, 1991-in which to respond to the Demands for Information.
In response to a request made to the NRC's Office of' General Counsel, I understand that the NRC will grant an extension for responses to the Demands for Information until July 31, 1991.
My clients and I will utilize this time to assure appropriate responses to the Demands.
At the same time, I request an extension until August 30, 1991 in order to provide adequate representation to my clients.
This letter addresses an on-going investigation, and its disclosure would constitute.a clearly unwarranted invasion of 9107010062 910625 PDR ADOCK 0D000424 p
