The removal of the cable tray covers degraded these fire barrier assemblies to an inoperable status during the performance of the electrical modifications which required more than seven days for completion.

The fire barrier assemblies were declared operable on October 13, 1983, at 2100 hours0.0243 days
0.583 hours
0.00347 weeks
7.9905e-4 months
.
Action Statement (a) of Technical Specification 3.7.10 was applied.
This Specification requires the inoperable fire rated assembly and/or sealing device to be operable within seven (7) days or submit a Special Report to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission within the next thirty (30) days.
l ACTION TAKEN TO PREVENT RECURRENCE The Licensee plans no further action for this event.
