Vermont Yankee 1983 " EOF-IN" Emergency Plan Exercise
Dear Sir:
Enclosed is the detailed accident sequence which will be used to conduct the 1983 Vermont Yankee " EOF-IN" emergency plan exercise to be held on August 11, 1983.
The enclosed accident sequence adequately meets the objectives for the conduct of the " EOF-IN" emergency plan exercise as discussed in Attachment I of Reference (b).
As you are well aware, the success of this exercise is highly dependent on the confidentiality of the accident scenario sequence. Therefore, we are requesting that Attachment I be treated on a "need to know" basis and that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR 2.790.
We further request that Attachment I not be reproduced and that the details of our scenario be held in confidentiality by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Federal Emergency Panagement Agency, An affidavit attesting to the proprietary nature of Attachment I is enclosed.
If you have any questions concerning this submittal, please contact us immediately as we do not want to delay the planning process.
If no further communications are received relative to this submittal, our plans will be considered accepted.
