Dear Mr. Stolz:
By letter dated July 11, 1979, the Division of Operating Reactors requested Philadelphia Electric Company to submit a license amendment application to incorporate the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix I in the Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3 Technical Specifications.
To comply with this request, Philadelphia Electric Company submitted a licer,se amendment application as stated in Reference 1.
Subsequen~c to NRC and Franklin Research review of the amendment, a meeting was held in June 1982 between members of the NRC staff, Frankin Research and Philadelphia Electric Company to resolve differences between Appendix I and the amendment application.
Based on this meeting, an amendment to the original amendment application was submitted for NRC approval as stated in Reference 2.

The enclosed is a copy of the November 29, 1982 application, revised to incorporate several changes requested by the NRC staff through the NRC Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Project Manager and accepted by the Philadelphia Electric Company Licens,ing Section staff.
It it our understanding that the changes reflected on the attached application satisfy the NRC staff's concerns in this matter and their acceptance by Philadelphia Electric Company will serait appropriate licensing action to be taken.
