2 This transmittal of Volume X completes our submittal of the Seismic Margin Review reports for the Staff to review.

It has been demonstrated and documented in the respective volumes of the Seismic Margin Review that the Midland Plant has adequate margins with respect to code allowables to resist the effects of the site-specific earthquake.

It is expected that this information will enable the NRC staff to complete its review of the Midland Seismic Margin Review Report. Should you require any further information, please contact my staff.
