The State of Maryland and;
- Calvert, St.. Mary's and Dorchester Counties participated in.this' M
exercise.
The final exercise report was prepared by the Federal-Emergency Management-- Agency ' (FEMA) Region.III staff.
Copies of this-report will.be forwarded to the Statecof. Maryland by FEMA Region III staff.
4 There were no Deficiencies identified during this exercise.
There w e r e,- however, twenty-three Areas Requiring H Corrective Action -
'(ARCA) identified.
FEMA.. Region III staff will monitor:the' status of corrective actions.
Based on the results of the October 27,.1993,' exercise,*the offsite
- radiological emergency response plans and preparedness : for the State. of Maryland and the affected local. jurisdictions,

', implemented and; are adequate to provide reasonable 1 assurance 2that appropriate measures can-be taken offsite to protect the: health'and safety of the public in the event of a.. radiological emergency at<

Therefore, the Title 44 CFR;.Part 350, approval of the
.offsite. radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Maryland site-specific to'the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear:
Power Plant, granted on August-8,31985, will. remain in effect.
