Subject:

Nuclear Operations Training Plan Attachmeat. B to Reference 2 provided information describing the Nuclear Operations Training Plan at the request of members of the Licensee Qualification Audit Team. Substantial changes have been made ta the training plan in the intervening period as operational staffing and training needs became more clearly defined. Th<2 revised training plan is attached and supersedes that in Attachment B to Referer.ce 2.

Future revisions of the training plan will be documented in Section 13.2 of the FSAR consistent with the level of detail normally provided there.

TRAINING PROGRAM DESCRIPTICyS Training is a necessary activity which must be ongoing for the life of the Enrico Fermi 2 Atomic Power Plant. Training for the Nuclear Operations Organizations _is separated into two types:

Forma) and non-formal. Formal, in this context, means training identified on Training Program Descriptions (TPD's). Non-formal is all other training.

Formal training for the Nuclear Operation?s Organization defines the span of the Nuclear Operations Training Program, and is the responsibility of the Nuclear Training Organization. Formal training has three classi-fications:

1) Position-Required Training - Training activities which each inct.mbent of relevant job titles must satisfy in order to fulfill the training portion of a job's qualification requirement.
2) Task-Required Training - Training activities which must be satis-fied within the incumbent population of each relevant job title.

Individual job incumbents may be required to satisfy one or more task qualification requirements; however, individual task quali-fication requ. rem'nts are determined by supervisory assignment, ensuring that required distribution of task qualifications are represented in the incumbent population. All job incumbents are not required to satisfy task-required training commitments.

3) Optional Supplementary Training - Training activities which represent enhancements to basic job performance skills and/or knowledges, or represent desired skills /knowledges which are not directly relevant to the appropriate job titlea. Optional Supplementary Training is volitional by supervisory assignment, and does not represent or reflect any third party auditable requirement (s).
