SUPPLEMENTAL.INFORMATION NRC COMBINED INSPECTION-50-272/83-22 AND 50-311/83-22 SALEM GENERATING STATION NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 The subject inspection report identified several violations and one deviation related to the Salem Generating Station Radiation Protection and Health Physics programs.
The findings of this c
inspection also identified the need for improvement in high radiation area control and in transmittal of audit repocts to management positions responsible for the areas audited.
PSE&G's responses to the violations, to the deviation, and to control of high radiation areas were provided in our response dated November 21, 1983.
This supplemental response describes the actions taken regarding audit reports and it reiterates our previous answer to the concern regarding control of high radiation areas.
Item 7.2
-Technical Spec'ification 6.5.2.10, requires that audit reports encompassed by section 6.5.2.8 be forwarded to the Vice-President Production and to the management positions responsible for the areas audited within 30 days after completion of the audit.

The review of audits S-81-3 and S-82-23 indicated that these audits encompassed the above areas.
