Three Mile Island Nuclear S*.ation, Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 TMI-1 Steam Generator Long-Term Corrosion Test Program Status Update This letter provides the quarterly update on the status of the TMI-1 Steam Generator long-term corrosion test program. As described in GPUN Topical Report 008, Rev. 3 p. 26-27, the program consists of four test loops con-taining TMI-l tube samples experiencing simulated plant operating life.
Key parameters are varied from loop to loop.
As of September 27, 1983, all four test loops are at normal operating tempera-tures in the listed operating cycles:

Operating #2 2120 4
Operating #2 2120 Aftor completion of the present cycles, two additional cycles will be run on each loop. The anticipated date for completion of the testing is May 15, 1984.
