I lj ei Gentlemen By letter dated Sap *W 2,1994,' Georgia Power Company (GPC) submitted the design details of t!'c Unit I Core Shroud Stabilizer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

- (NRC) staff review. The NRC staff review subsequently found the design to be

-i acceptable GPC's submittal contained ' formation considered to be proprietary by the m

General Electric (GE) Company. Accordingly, an affidavit was enclosed with the

j submittal.

Ii Based on further review, two clarifications are needed relative to the content and -

' designation of the subject proprietary information. First, GPC's submittal contained

drawings 107E5447 which were marked as proprietary; however, these drawings were'not listed in Table 2 of GPC's submittal. While the drawings were incorrectly omitted from

.j Table 2, and while Attachment 2 of the GE affidavit does not include these drawings, the '

- GE affidavit does specify these drawings as proprietary on page 1 of the affidavit.

i Consequently, drawings 107E5447 should be excluded from the public document room.

i Second, Attachment 2 of the GE affidavit includes a "P" designator next to the drawing number on some drawings. This designator indicates that the part number on the corresponding drawing is designated as the proprietary'information. When no part number is indicated the entire drawing is designated as proprietary.
