SUMMARY
DESCRIPTION - PROTECTION AGAINST MALEVOLENT USE OF VEHICLES AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS On August 1,1994, the NRC issued a final rule (59 FR 38889), Protection Against Malevolent Use of Vehicles at Nuclear Power Plants. Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55(c)(9)(i), Virginia Electric and Power Company submits a summary description of the vehicle control measures and the results of our comparison of vehicle control alternatives with protection goals. In addition, we confirm that the vehicle control measures selected for implementation at Surry and North Anna meet the design goals and criteria specified by the NRC. The summary and further site-specific details are enclosed in Attachment 1.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
