Dear Mr. Lewis:

I am writing on behalf of a constituent, Mr. Christopher A. Nord of Newburyport, who recently attempted to submit testimony before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board hearings in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Mr. Nord informs our offices that he had called upon you to have his name added to the list of people wishing to testify before the A.S.L. Board at their August 31 hearings. He apparently reached you on Friday, August 26. Yet, on the day of the hearings, he was not called upon to. testify, even though he had signed on to a second list on the day of the hearings. It would be a great help if you could determine why Mr. Nord was not able to share his views with the A.S.L. Board. It is difficult for constituents to remain active in complex issues when they feel ignored by agencies of the Federal Government. Thank you for your ef forts. I Sincerely, J j BARBARA HILDT, State Representative BH/cle l 8310060364 831004 PDR ADOCK 05000443 U PDR l}}
