Schnell dated September 2, 1983 References one and two forwarded the USNRC, Region-III I&E Inspection Report No. 30-483/83-14 and the Union Electric response, respectively.
Reference three acknowledged receipt of reference two, but also indicated an understanding about the turbine driven auxiliary feed-water pump turbine control panel which, perhaps, needs further clarification.
This turbine control panel was indeed procured, received and installed as a aafety-related item.
This clarification was discussed with Mr. P. Pelke of your Region III staff by Mr.
J.
R.
Veatch of our Callaway Plant Construction Quality Assurance staff-on September 12, 1983.
