Dear Ms. Adensam:

In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 Please refer to R. H. Shell's letter to you dated December 1,1983 which responded to Gensric Letter 82-33 requirements concerning Regulatory Guide 1.97 for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant and committed TVA to provide an implementation date by February 15, 1984. Based on estimated design completion and material delivery dates, manpower projections, and the

present projections of outage schedules, we anticipate that TVA will be in compliance with the requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.97 for Sequoyah units 1 and 2 at the end of the unit 2, cycle 4 outage. The unit 2, cycle 4 outage is. currently scheduled to be complete by September 2,1987.

Please understand that any unanticipated changes in the scheduled outages will caure changes in the final implementation date.
