Amendment Request for CoC number USA/9269/B(U)-96
Dear Ms. Sampson:
QSA Global, Inc. requests amendment to this Type B approval for the Model 650L to incorporate a change to drawing R65006. The current drawing references resistance/spot welding on the bottom plate and the outer sleeve components (reference R65006 Rev L sheets 1 and 2 of 5). Currently, the drawing notes on sheet 5 of 5 are incomplete as they do not include reference to the applicable welding standard for resistance/spot welding.
Enclosed is drawing R65006 Rev M which revises note 2 on sheet 5 of 5 to include AWS D1 7.2/D 1 7.2M Resistance Welding for Aerospace Applications. Please note that all bottom plate and outer sleeve components in use on 650L packages were purchased and assembled prior to 01 Nov 2010, so all units are compliant with the current descriptive drawing and certificate of compliance. This change is being made for clarification and accuracy purposes only for any future component manufacture of these parts.
