Emergency Plan Exercise Schedule

Dear Sir:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that fednesday, November 14, 1984 has been established as the date for canducting the 1984 Emergency Plan Exercise at Vermont Yankee. This date has been coordinated l

with our three Emergency Plancing Zone (EPZ) states: Vermont, New Hampshire, I

and Massachusetts.

In addition, we are requesting that if your office is planning a federal response to this exercise, that you defer any such response until our 1985

. exercise. This request is based on our plans to establish a new primary Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) and that federal participation would be more meaningful at the final EOF location. The new facility is scheduled to be cperational in time for the 1985 annual Emergency Plan Exercise, t
