Hanger Reinspection Findings; GN-251 dated 8/15/83, GN-285 dated 11/21/83 Attention: Mr. James P. O'Reilly Gentlemen:
In our letter GN-285 dated November 21, 1983, Georgia Power Company stated the NRC would be advised by February 3, 1984, of the schedule for the completion of the engineering evaluation. Our response was delayed due to the relocation of the Project Management organization to the job-site.
At this time, Pullman Power Products has continued their reinspection of all installed pipe supports and has issued non-conformance reports covering detected discrepancies. All non-conformance reports have been submitted to engineering for evaluation. Engineering has advised that their evaluation will be completed by May 18, 1984. At that time, Georgia Power Company will be in a position to advise the NRC if a reportable event exists.
This response contains no proprietary information and may be placed in the NRC Public Document Room upon receipt.
