the testing pool while on site. Testing during this time period was performed on a nominal weekly basis to include swing shifts, weekends, and holidays. During this testing period, j
the rate of testing was equal to 50% yearly of the total population.

j emphasized that the incidents of confirming positive test were very low, Consequently, management actions relative to determination ofFFD have been limited. Contractor employees screened as positive are denied access sind no funher action is taken.
Management actions taken on licensee employees during this six month period included one Farley Nuclear Plant employee who tested positive for opiates. The employee was referred to the Employee Assistance Program, returned to work and entered into the i
follow-up testing pool.
i Beginning in July 1994, monthly quality control checks of the Fitness for Duty random i
pool were initiated. No major discrepancies were noted.
j Effective October 1,1994, the initial testing threshold for marijuana was lowered to 50 l
ng/mL from 100 ng/mL. Confirmation testing threshold remains at 15 ng/mL.
