Subject:
Clarification to Proposed Change No. 177, Standby Gas Treatment Power Supply Requirements During Refueling Operations The purpose of this letter is to transmit to you a clarification to the subject proposed change to the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications as previously submitted to you via Reference (b) in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR 50.90.
Enclosed please find Technical Specification Pages 153 and 166 which hasve been revised to change the terminology proposed for Technical Specification 3.7.B.1.b and Bases section 3.7.
This revision replaces the term " auxiliary electrical power source" with the term " alternate electrical power source". This wording is intended as a clarification of our previous submittal (Reference (b)] and has been included at the request of your staff as discussed in telephone conversations held with your staff on Feb. 15, 1995, We trust that this information is responsive to your request.
