' Reduction of Maximum Applicable Power Level for Operation With One or More Main Steam Safety Valves (MSSVs)
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing an amendment to Licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 to change the TSs of SON Units 1 and 2. The proposed change supplements the above referenced submittal by clarifying the limits of Mode 3 applicability.
The supplemental changes to the proposed TS change are identified in (affected pages only). The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2. Enclosure 3 provides a revised significant hazard consideration, which contains the original and supplemental information.

The need for this supplemental response was a result of an oversight when TVA decided to leave the Nuclear Instrumentation System high-neutron flux trip setpoint in the affected TS Section 3.7.1.1.
TVA requests a 45-day implementation period for this TS change following issuance.
