regulations 10 C.F.R. Part 9, Subpart A), please provide copies of recordsl_/ (pertaining to the following:

Any and all records prepared by or supplied to the NRC Staff, and/or its consultants or contractors, as part of the Diagnostic Evaluation Team ("DET")
inspection conducted at Houston Lighting Power Company's
("HL&P's") South Texas Project
("STP"),
including but not limited to:
Records regarding the' decision to conduct the DET a.
inspection; b.
Records associated with activities conducted in preparation for the DET inspection, during the DET inspection, or after the DET inspection including the development of the DET inspection report; l_/
Reference to the term " records" means any and all printed or written materials regardless of form or characteristic, including but not limited to
- reports, memoranda, correspondence, statements,
- studies, spreadsheets,
- charts, graphs,
- agendas, outlines, summaries,
- notes, notebooks, telephone conversation logs, or meeting minutes, as well as any and all sound recordings, videotapes, computer discs, or photographs.

Records associated with the closure of deficiencias, concerns or other types of problems identified in the DET inspection report.
The above requested records should include those available at NRC Headquarters, Region IV, and in the NRC offices at the STP site.
To the degree that any or all of the above-requested records are already publicly available and readily retrievable in the Washington, D.C. area, please provide a list of such records with the appropriate references to facilitate acquisition.
If any or all of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption (s) that supposedly justify the refusal to publicly release the
- records, and inform me of any appeal procedures available under the law.
I would appreciate the handling of this request as quickly as possible, and look forward to hearing from you within 10 days as required by law.
- Finally, please advise me of the costs involved in obtaining these records if such costs are estimated to exceed $500.00.
