Resubmittal of the Draft Fermi 2 Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM)

The November 1982 draft of the ODCM is hereby resubmitted for NRC review.

We understand that since the ODCM is to be reviewed by your subcontractor, it is necessary that it be docketed even though this is not the normal process for Technical Specification items at this stage of review.

It should be noted that the ODCM was previously submitted for review by NRC staff in April 1982.

The ODCM has gone through one round of staff comments, and was resubmitted in December 1982.

To give Detroit Edison adequate time to respond to NRC staff comments to support the issuance of the Proof and Review copy of Fermi 2 Technical Specifica-tions three months prior to fuel load, Edison requires the results of NRC review of the ODCM by February 29, 1984.
