Exercise Report of the November 1,1983, Exercise of the Of fsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plans for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Station Attached are two copies of the Exercise Report of the November 1,1983, joint exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Station. Wisconsin State and Manitowoe and Kewaunee Counties participated in the exercise. The report, dated December 14, 1983, was prepared by Region V of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

FEMA Region V staff will furnish a copy of this report to the State of Wisconsin and will request a schedule of actions for correction of deficiencies. As soon as we receive and analyze the State's response, we will send you the results.

Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant Exercise Report Attached is the exercise report for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant which was conducted on November 1, 1983.

The exercise was evaluated under the procedural policy outlined in the August 4, 1983 memo. The recent developed modular exercrit was used during the evaluation process. The exercise objectives listed in the report differ slightly in Tab M of the modular forn it because the State ,

had developed and submitted the c" -_'r= prior to August 5th guidance objecties being received.

The date for a schedule of corrective action must be established following your approval of the report and when tne final copy is sent to the State.
