.g Interrogatory No. 1 (1) Please provide details pertinent to safety related pipe failures due to freeze induced bursts.

(a) Date of pipe bursts.

(b) Lowest temperature re bursts.

(c) Number of bursts.

(d) Length of cracks.

(e) Size of pieces burst off pipe.

(f) Number of bursts occuring at welds.

(g) Number of bursts occuring within 3, 6, 9, 12 inches of any welds.

(h) Provide test metb'd used or to be used to check stresses at other locations wnere bursting did not occur.

(i) Give number of feet of pipes of all sizes involved.

(j) Number of tests for stress made on pipes in (1) .

(k) Number of bursts or cracks that occurred at welds.

(1) Do you have radiographs of welds in (k)?

(m) Were those radiographs at (1) recorded as properly performed welds?

Answer There were no safety related pipe failures due to freeze induced bursts as a result of the recent cold weather conditions at Limerick.
