Encicsed are one (1) signed original and twelve (12) additional copies of the current annual revision to the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No.1, Updated Final Safety Analysis Report.
This revision is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.71 (e).
To our bcst judgement and ability this revision accurately presents changes necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to Commission requirement. This revision also includes changes resulting from Duquesne Light Company reviews intended to provide additional clarification or editorial changes in the Updated FSAR.
Section 14.3 revisions are not complete at this time and will be forwarded during September of 1983.
Due to an administrative oversight Figures B.3-3 through B.3-12 were not removed from the Updated FSAR Revision 0, copies previously submitted to the Commission.
These figures will be removed for Updated FSAR Revision 1 as noted in the insertion instructions.
Since the Updated FSAR is a controlled document, subject to periodic revision, and is intended to be used in recurring safety analyses, we ask that you acknowledge receipt of the current annual revision to the Updated FSAR.
For your convenience in doing this, we have attached a " Records Transmittal Fom."

i SUBMITTAL 0F ANNUAL REVISION TO THE UPDATED FSAR Pursuant to Section 50.71(e) of the regulations of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the " Commission"), Duquesne Light Company ("DLC"),
holder of Provisional Operating License No. DPR-66, hereby submits the.
current annual revision to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report, Revision 1, January 1983, for Beaver Valley Power Station Unit Number 1 (BVPS-1).
To my best personal knowledge and belief, and when reviewed in consideration of the qualifications noted in the attached letter, this revision to the Updated FSAR as submitted accurately presents changes necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to Commission requirement. Additionally, changes identified in the 1982 Report of Facility Changes, Tests and Experiments submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 have been included in this Revision.

The Updated FSAR for Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No.1 is distributed as a controlled copy.

Each controlled copy holder (see Table 1 - Distribution List) is responsible for incorporating revisions and all changes issued to the applicable copy.
