Dear Sir:

In support of the schedule for review of Beaver Valley Power Station's 1994 Unannounced Annual Emergency Preparedness Exercise, Duquesne Light Company is providing the attached Beaver Valley Power Station Unit #1 Annual Exercise scenario package.

The Unannounced Annual Exercise will be conducted on February 15, at approximately 1800 hours0.0208 days <br />0.5 hours <br />0.00298 weeks <br />6.849e-4 months <br /> and terminate on February 16, 1994 at approximately 0100 hours0.00116 days <br />0.0278 hours <br />1.653439e-4 weeks <br />3.805e-5 months <br />. Only NRC personnel and State Controllers will be aware of the date and time of the Exercise. Utility knowledge of the date and time of the Exercise will be limited to Controllers and selected management personnel.

Exercise participation is ew% with the States of Pennsylvania, Ohio, ' West Virginia and their associated Counties (Beaver,'Columbiana, and Hancock).

We request that any comments on the scenario be provided to the Duquesne Light Company no later than January 20, 1994 to allow adequate time to incorporate any needed scenario charges.
